Calendar of Events: Don't Miss the Big Wowwow

Your Patch guide to happiness.

If the rain and odd May chill have you down in the dumps this week, you need a pick-me-up more than ever. It's not due to be a warm weekend, but it's going to be a sunny one. Yea!

Let us guide you to what's happening in La Jolla, San Diego and beyond from May 19 to 25. You can enjoy a community Powwow at UCSD, a salute to all things Mom and a tour by one of the country's top comedy troups.

And for serious sorts, UCSD Extension hosts a discussion this week about your privacy on the web. In the wake of recent uproars like concerns about iPhone and Android users having their location tracked, it's not a bad point to ponder.
