The Athenaeum Music & Arts Library hosted a New Orleans-themed gala on Sept. 6 in La Jolla.
The Athenaeum Music & Arts Library in La Jolla hosted its 24th annual gala Sept. 6. This year's theme for the fundraiser was "New Orleans and All That Jazz." Guests enjoyed New Orleans jazz and creole-inspired dinner by the La Jolla Hyatt Regency.
The gala is library's largest fundraiser. The Athenaeum did not disclosed the amount raised at the event.
In addition to music and dinner, guests participated in a silent auction featuring prizes including a week's stay at Rancho La Puerta, a Parisian Fantasy eight-course dinner for 10 and event tickets.
