The band got its start at the height of the New Wave rock phase in 1979 and gained quick popularity with their first album Shuttered Room in 1982. That album featured the hit Red Skies. Future hits include One Thing Leads to Another and Saved by Zero. The band released its first album in nine years with 2012’s Beautiful Friction.

The Fixx’s roots may be firmly planted in the ‘80s, but their music continues into the present moment.
