Where Are Hauppauge's Most Ignored Stop Signs?

Stop signs are not optional, but they're sometimes treated as if they are.

There are hundreds of stop signs in Hauppauge, but unfortunately, too often are they completely ignored by folks in a rush.

These "stop-tional" signs are the ones that drivers treat more as a suggestion than a command. The ones in which a car comes down the road, slightly slows down and then accelerates through the stop sign.

Do you know of a location where a stop sign is frequently rolled through or ignored?

Cardinal Lane and Eagle; it's a 4-way intersection but only a 2-way stop. People assume it's a 4-way stop and roll right into oncoming cars.

4-way stop sign at Terry Road and Townline Court/Canterbury Drive. Roll-throughs in both directions and ignoring/blowing through the stop sign especially when traffic is heading towards Townline Road/Smithtown. Happens freqently even with two "Stop Ahead" signs before the intersection, one of them with flashing lights.

Townline Rd. and Terry Court. I stop to make a left turn onto Terry Ct. and people are in such a hurry that they pass me on the right. Many close calls there
