Walking Tour Highlights Murals of La Jolla

Lace up your walking shoes, a new walking tour is coming to La Jolla on May 16.

A new walking art tour is coming to La Jolla. 

The Athenaeum Music and Arts Library will host a walking tour of the murals of La Jolla. 

Project curator and tour guide Linda Forsha will lead walkers on an insightful journey and share details of each piece.

Matt Browar, a member of the La Jolla Foundation, started the mural project two years ago. The project has eight murals from Prospect Street to Bishops Lane. 

The walking tour will end at The Athenaeum with a reception.

The free event will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 at The Athenaeum Music and Arts Library.
