Surfers, kayakers, swimmers, divers, beach lovers and ocean enthusiasts rejoice! launched a new live HD Web camera of sand and surf views from Scripps Pier just in time for the summer season. The old web cam had been down for seven months.
The camera, in collaboration with Surfline.com, allows anyone with an internet connection to stream views of this famous beach in real time.
The camera rotates between north and south views every few seconds.
The Scripps Pier Cam Web page also provides real-time coastal forecasting information from Scripps' Coastal Data Information Program and weather data from Earth Networks.
