See's Candies Recalls Chocolates

See's Candies issued a recall of Divinity Egg with Walnuts because they may contain peanuts.

California chocolate company See's Candies issued a recall on one code of 1.7 ounce Divinity Easter Egg with Walnuts candy because some boxes may contain peanut butter eggs. The peanut butter may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reactions for those with peanut allergies.

The product was distributed to See's shops in several states including California. The total number of boxes produced that may contain peanut butter is 64 of a run of 2,048 Divinity with Walnuts Eggs, according to the FDA.

The only code affected by this recall is L.A.D. 102/13. The code is visible on the inside back of the box, through the cellophane window.
