Photos: Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton Gets a Natural High in La Jolla
Natural High, a local nonprofit dedicated to a drug-free life, hosted its annual Sunset Splash Gala on Oct. 6 at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines with surfer Bethany Hamilton.
You don't need to get high using drugs and alcohol. You can get high on life!
La Jolla-based drug abuse prevention organization Natural High spreads this message to millions of teens and pre-teens each year. Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton starred in Natural High's latest DVD that is distributed to more than 14,000 schools across the nation. In year's past, MTV reality star and designer Lauren Conrad, Tony Hawk, Cassadee Pope of Hey Monday, motocross champ Travis Pastrana and professional skater Terry Kennedy have partnered with Natural High.

Hamilton also came to La Jolla last week. She was honored at Natural High’s 12th Annual Sunset Splash Gala at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines on Saturday.
Natural High was founded by local businessman Jon Sundt.
