The Paper Source recently opened it's newest location in the former Shops at La Jolla Village Chase Bank storefront.
Founded in 1983, the papery and on-line retailer has been offering personalized gifts, announcements and artisanal papers for almost 30 years. As of April 2012, Paper Source operates more than 50 retail storefront locations throughout the U.S.
Spokesperson Emily Senk said that expanding to La Jolla was a natural fit.
“Having a store in Carlsbad for nearly four years, we repeatedly heard from our customers that we needed to open another store in the San Diego area,” she said. “La Jolla was an attractive option due to the unique shopping experience The Shops at La Jolla Village provides.”

Custom Invitation Information: Custom invitations take between three and four weeks to be created depending on what the customer is looking for. Price points will vary based on the services requested.
Workshop Information: Most of the classes the La Jolla location will be similar to those listed on the company's website. There will be a personal stationary workshop on May 2, a wedding workshop on Jun. 9 and one called "Pretty Paper Bowls" on Jun. 21. Class cost and times will vary based on the materials customers will be using and the nature of the class.
Grand Opening Information: The La Jolla store's grand opening will take place on May 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will feature several mini-workshops for customers to take advantage of. Workshop offerings will include one on envelopes, rubber stamping, party favors and paper flowering. Those wishing to participate are invited to simply come into the store.
