Orange Bikes Parked All Across La Jolla

Several very bright orange bicycles are locked up along high traffic streets in La Jolla. Where did they come from?

Updated on Sunday, July 21: Mystery of 30 Orange Bicycles in La Jolla Solved

Several colorful bicycles have been parked along La Jolla's busies intersections. It seems as though they appeared overnight. Patch wonders if they are art or bicycles that have been paint bombed?

We've seen them along Torrey Pines Road at Girard, Herschel, Exchange and Prospect; and along Pearl Street at Eads and La Jolla Boulevard.

Have you seen the orange bicycles that are painted from handlebar to spokes?  Where did they come from? Who placed them there? Let us know in the comment section below. We'd love to learn more.
