Finding a physician can be a challenge. Where do you start? Referrals from your current physician? Referrals from friends? Google? U.S. News & World Report recently released a report that can make the search a bit easier. It released a “Top Doctors” report that is searchable online by location, hospital affiliation or by specialty.
The Top Doctors list was created through a peer-nomination process and vetted by a physician-led research team.
Doctors at , and the VA San Diego Medical Center in La Jolla made the list.
Scripps Health had 35 physicians including 27 La Jolla doctors named.
Chris Van Gorder, Scripps Health president and CEO, said in an announcement that he was thrilled.
“We have always known that Scripps is home to some of the most gifted physicians in the country, and the Top Doctors list affirms that other recognize this as well,” he said.
