Biotech pioneer Patrick Soon-Shiong will speak about the role of big data in global cancer research on Wednesday in La Jolla.
Soon-Shiong performed the first pancreatic transplant, developed the diabetes drug Abraxane and created life-extending treatments for various cancers.
The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Scripps Research Institute's auditorium, 10640 John Jay Hopkins Dr.
