La Jolla Photo History: Kneesies of 1961
The La Jolla Historical Society recently released eight photos from 1961, which show off a little leg!
Get into the time machine. We are headed back to May 1961, when Elvis was King, John F. Kennedy made a goal to get to the moon and the Freedom Riders set out in their bus.
Scroll through the above photos to enjoy a slice of life from La Jolla in 1961. The La Jolla Historical Society recently released eight photos in a series called Kneesies. Young woman have eyes painted on their legs near their knees, and one even has a Paul Anka tribute.
