Experience Real Marine Training for a Great Cause


 


Put your blood, sweat and tears into celebrating our military during San Diego’s Fleet Week at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Bootcamp Challenge.

Support the Marines and their families while testing your strength at the Bootcamp Challenge on Saturday, September 29th starting at 9 AM. Train like a real Marine on their 3-mile obstacle course with more than 40 physically and mentally challenging obstacles used by Marine recruits during their training. Crawl under logs, climb up walls, elbow through trenches and push out some push-ups in the name of supporting our troops. Proceeds from the event support quality of life programs at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot of San Diego and help enrich the lives of local service members and their families. Hearts will be pumping and blood will be racing, as 60 Drill Instructors use their in-your-face motivation techniques to move racers along the course.

With past years bringing thousands of participants on base, this grand event is a great way to sweat out your support for the Marines and a unique chance to see the base. The Post-Race Party crowns winners of various categories and is a great way to mingle with friends, family and the Marines from the event. With plenty of food, music, drinks and entertainment, work out the pains of the race and enjoy sponsor booths with family fun activities such as face painting, haircuts, video games and raffle prizes.


 


Sign up today! Online registration ends Tuesday night, September 25th but you can also register the day of the race. Whether individually or in a team, put your strength to the test on the course and step into the boots of a Marine trainee.  Participants receive an official Bootcamp Challenge t-shirt and infinite bragging rights that they survived Marine training.
