Does Your Dog Watch TV? There's a New Channel Just for Him

DOGTV launched exclusively in the San Diego area this week.

If you’re a dog owner, consider the following question: When you step away from home, do you leave the TV on or off for your pet?

One television network is willing to bet there's a good chance you answered yes. DOGTV, like it sounds, is a new TV channel with programming created for dogs to watch. All of the audio signatures, soundtracks, camera angles, transitions, and pace are developed to engage dogs. Curious what that looks like? You can get an idea here.

The idea behind DOGTV is that it helps cutback on separation anxiety, the most common dog behavioral issue in the nation according to the TV station’s website.
