Dense Fog Expected Along the Coast Through Sunday Morning

Dense fog along the coast was expected to roll in Saturday night and persist through early Sunday morning, a National Weather Service (NWS) forecaster said.

"Dense fog is likely to form after 7 p.m. tonight along the coast, extending 5 to 10 miles inland and not dissipate until about 9 a.m. Sunday," NWS forecaster Cynthia Palmer said.

Palmer said temperatures Sturday were expected to be about normal for this time of the year along the coast, and slightly above normal inland.
