Local resident recovers from Lyme disease and dedicates life to helping others

Life coach and La Jolla resident, Katrina Starzhynskaya, is no stranger to adversity. After falling incredibly ill in 2009 and eventually being diagnosed with Lyme disease, Katrina has picked up the pieces and chosen to move forward. Katrina committed to recovering through alternative treatments and is now symptom free. She works as a health and wellness coach here in La Jolla and is currently writing her second book on achievement, success and empowerment.

Her first book, “Katrina's Recovery From Mysterious Disease” highlights her journey to recovery and the treatments that have and haven’t worked for her. More important than the disease, Katrina focuses on taking your health into your own hands and making health-conscious choices to improve your quality of life. Her second book will focus on empowerment and living the life you deserve, from outstanding energy and health to relationships and financial success.

Katrina is passionate about inspiring others to reach their dreams, and takes that into the La Jolla community and everywhere else she goes. Katrina is constantly updating her website with more information on health and wellness, her books and ways to reach out and become a better you!
