Fashion Valley's Retail Scene Heats Up With New Retailers

San Diego’s fashionistas have even more options to help spruce up their wardrobes with a new selection of retailers slated to call Fashion Valley home.

Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) and Fashion Valley are excited to announce today that AllSaints, PINK, lululemon athletica and Free People will be opening their doors starting with the opening of AllSaints this Spring, adding to the center’s already outstanding retail mix. Victoria’s Secret will also be expanding its space, while Lorna Jane will re-locate to a permanent location.

“As the premier retail and lifestyle destination in San Diego, both for local shoppers and visitors from around the world, we’re thrilled to welcome all of these fresh new retailers, including the first standalone AllSaints store in San Diego and Orange County,” said Chris Lane, director of marketing and business development at Fashion Valley.

British fashion house AllSaints, a newcomer to the San Diego market, will be the first in the series to set up shop. The store is slated to open March 28 in a 5,200 square-foot space on Fashion Valley’s lower level next to Michael Kors, near Macy’s.

The store will carry a range of the brand’s iconic British collection as well as technology aimed at enhancing the shopping experience and embracing digital innovation.

Founded in London in 1994, the Spitalfields headquartered AllSaints began as a menswear brand and quickly moved into the womenswear space. Known for its edgy and attitudinal clothing, AllSaints aims for creating fresh, innovative design, encompassing an ideology of reinventing the traditional standard. The cult cool brand has earned a reputation as the destination for vintage inspired design. AllSaints is a global brand with 107 stores in eight different countries.

Expected this July is PINK, a fully articulated lifestyle collection for young women focused on comfy, effortlessly cool wear and accessories. PINK also offers exclusive co-branded VS PINK MLB, NFL and Collegiate Collections. The 5,500 square-foot standalone PINK store will be located near the children’s play area, allowing Victoria’s Secret to expand its existing space and selection of apparel, lingerie, bras, panties, sleepwear, hosiery and more.

Opening this summer, lululemon athletica will help San Diegans stay fit for the year-round sunshine when it opens a 3,800 square-foot store on the second level between J. Crew and Sur La Table. Known for its yoga-inspired athletic apparel, lululemon athletica focuses on creating components for both men and women to live longer, healthier, fun lives, specializing in making technical athletic apparel for yoga, running, and many more sweaty pursuits.

The retailer hosts various community experiences ranging from weekly complimentary yoga classes to goal-setting workshops.

Following later this year are Free People and the relocation of Lorna Jane.

Billed as a boho-chic boutique, Free People is a specialty clothing brand that is part of the Urban Outfitters family of companies. The retailer features the latest trends and vintage collections for women who live free through fashion, art, music and travel. The 3,800 square-foot store, located on the second level near Neiman Marcus, will specialize in printed tees, thermal tops, innovative jackets, dress, shoes and more.

Also helping San Diegans look good while working up a sweat is Australian-based women's activewear label Lorna Jane, slated to relocate to its permanent 1,300 square-foot home on level one between Macy’s and Neiman Marcus. Lorna Jane is designed by women, for women and features sports bras, hoodies for women and leggings.
