Play Trivia: Win La Jolla Playhouse Tickets

La Jolla Playhouse has a proud tradition of producing quality theater and individual talent, including some high-profile success stories.

Ever wonder where actors and writers on Broadway, in movies and on television get their start? Well, when it comes to humble beginnings in the performing arts, the has been fostering budding talent since its inception in 1947.

Well in line with the initial mission laid out by Gregory Peck, Dorothy McGuire and Mel Ferrer, this respected local institution still provides an arena for compelling on-stage productions more than 60 years later. From workshops for young performers to residency programs, La Jolla Playhouse strives to honor and promote the proud tradition of theater arts.

This week’s trivia is a nod to the excellence of La Jolla Playhouse, exemplified by just a few of the success stories – including Tony-, Emmy- and Golden Globe-award-winning actors and writers. Answer the question correctly, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win four tickets to an upcoming performance of Peer Gynt and—just maybe—a glimpse at the next big thing.

Question: Each of the well-known names listed below derived some kind of success from time spent at La Jolla Playhouse, with the exception of one. Choose the player or playwright who didn’t have the pleasure of performing at our proud local establishment:
