Photos: Inaugural Reggie Bush Football Camp at UC San Diego

San Diego native and Super Bowl champion Reggie Bush hosted a football camp for boys and girls ages 15-18 at UC San Diego on Saturday.

The 2011 NFL season is in doubt, and his future with the New Orleans Saints uncertain, but that didn’t stop San Diego native Reggie Bush from sharing his passion for football with local at-risk youth.

Bush, who was a star running back at Helix High School in La Mesa, and played at the collegiate level for the University of Southern California, returned to San Diego on Saturday to host the inaugural Reggie Bush Football Camp. The 120 boys and girls in attendance at Bush’s camp, which was held on campus, were invited to participate at no charge.

Bush has hosted a football camp in New Orleans for the past few years, and said he wanted to do something similar for kids in his hometown of San Diego.
