Photos: Death Cab for Cutie Concert in La Jolla

Indie rockers Death Cab for Cutie and Scottish band Frightened Rabbit played for a large audience Tuesday night at UC San Diego's RIMAC Arena.

The Seattle band, Death Cab for Cutie, on tour in support of their seventh album, Codes and Keys, wowed a near-capacity crowd at RIMAC Arena on Tuesday night. The band, which consists of Ben Gibbard (vocals, guitar, piano), Chris Walla (guitar, keyboards), Nick Harmer (bass) and Jason McGerr (drums) was formed in 1997.

Death Cab grabbed the audience right away, starting their two-hour long show with the Grammy Award nominated song, I Will Possess Your Heart. They played several songs off of the new album including: You Are a Tourist and Doors Unlocked and Opened and mixed in crowd favorites such as Soul Meets Body and Grapevine Fires.

Frightened Rabbit, an indie rock band from Selkirk, Scotland, opened the show.
