New Leases in La Jolla

Scott White Contemporary Art and Summer Elizabeth Enterprises recently signed leases for retail space in La Jolla.

A local art gallery recently signed a lease for space in La Jolla, and a women's clothing retailer is moving into new digs.

Scott White Contemporary Art (SWCA) will move its current gallery at 939 West Kalmia St. in San Diego to Girard Avenue this fall. SWCA signed a lease for 3,047 square feet of retail space at 7655 Girard Ave., Suite A. The 10-year-lease was valued at $936,360. Mike Slattery of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the property owners.

SWCA reported the work of Ross Bleckner will be the first exhibit in the new space, starting on Nov. 9. Bleckner is known for his large-scale paintings.

While SWCA is moving into La Jolla, Summer Elizabeth Boutique is just moving up the street from its old storefront at 1237 Prospect St. Summer Elizabeth Enterprises leased 2,150 square feet of retail space at 1025 Prospect St., Suite 250. 

The three-year lease was valued at $118,800. Mike Slattery and Bob Kuzman of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the lessor on this transaction.
