Michelle Obama Visiting La Jolla Friday for Fundraiser

First Lady Michelle Obama is scheduled to attend a breakfast fundraiser at the La Jolla home of Joan and Irwin Jacobs on Friday.

First Lady Michelle Obama will visit San Diego on Friday for a breakfast fundraiser in La Jolla, according to NBC San Diego.

Her husband, President Barack Obama, was in La Jolla for a fundraiser at the home of Elizabeth and Mason Phelps in September 2011. The private, $5,000-per-person re-election fundraiser was his first visit to San Diego since taking office. He had previously visited La Jolla in February 2007 for a fundraising event at Birch Aquarium.
